چکیده

Objective The aim of this work is to evaluate the safety and efficacy repeated sessions modified corneal collagen cross linking (M-CXL) combined with intrastromal injection voriconazole for treatment severe fungal keratitis ongoing melting compare outcome alone. Patients Methods This a retrospective comparative clinical cohort study. Thirty eyes clinically suspected lab-confirmed were included. These classified randomly into two groups each 15 eyes. In group (A), all underwent M-CXL frequent instillations (FI) topical week till reversal melting, then injections added complete healing together negative culture on lab examination. (B), Identification organisms was done by study before after treatment. Corneal evaluated examination anterior segment OCT (AS-OCT). Results Successful reported in 13 (86.7%) while successful 9 (60%), failure complications 2 (13.3%) (A) , however, 6 (40%), statistically significant difference (p <0.05) between groups.
